Cydney’s educational and professional background include a degree in Recreational Therapy, fluency in American Sign Language, and extensive experience with seniors and people with disabilities in a variety of settings. While in high school, Cydney worked with spinal cord injured veterans at a Veterans Administration Hospital, it was here she discovered her passion…working with people with disabilities to improve their quality of life. Cydney’s previous experiences include volunteering with the adaptive ski program in Vail, CO, Lions Club Camp for people with developmental disabilities, after-school programming for teens who are deaf and hard of hearing, and community setting programming.

In addition to relying on her educational and professional experience, Cydney believes bringing humor, joy, and positive energy into each client relationship promotes health and well being.

Cydney is also on staff on an Adult Psychiatric unit where she runs therapeutic programming and does weekly magic shows Previously, Cydney was the Activities Director at an upscale, assisted living community, where she established a comfortable and familiar rapport with residents and families using her natural ability to connect with people.

Great at multi-tasking, organized and willing to help with nearly anything, Cydney brings her upbeat and sunny disposition to everything she does.
